We were delighted with the cottage - very comfortable and well equipped. The owners were really helpful, and as they also run the pub at the bottom of the garden it was SO handy! The food at the pub was absolutely wonderful and very reasonable, and we found the area to be perfect for visiting either the Lakes or the Yorkshire Dales. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful with suggestions about where to go and what to see. All in all a very good holiday and we would love to return some day.

Lovely accommodation, fantastic food at the pub in the restaurant, not pub food, top quality restaurant food. Went there for two out of four evening meals.

Very happy and pleased with it overall. Me and my partner stayed during appleby horsefair and it was very convenient. A great cottage, very homely and comfy and we will definitely stay there again!

The cottage is a credit to its owners, very clean and well maintained, etc. It is situated in a quiet village with very friendly locals. Highly recommended and we will most definitely book again!

It was a really nice touch to have garden furniture, and to be so close to a child friendly pub with great food! Even the neighbours were friendly and approachable!

The converted barn was clean, well furnished and made a lovely retreat from every day living, also the owner was very polite and helpful.

This is a lovely cottage, it is finished to a very good standard and has a light and airy feel to it. The size of the rooms are excellent and you feel right at home.
